Homesick Lightworkers

Me: Ivo, why do Lightworkers always talk about feeling homesick? If we're earthlings, why do so many of them report that they long for a home they don't know about?
Ivo: My dear, you are earthlings (Terrans) but only in body. In soul, spirit and mind you are from other worlds.
Me: So does this feeling come about because we have a hard time getting on, gelling with our societies, the values of our worlds?
Ivo: Sometimes it can be. When you do not "fit in" with your surroundings you definitely begin to feel alienated, if you pardon the play on words. You feel like an outsider. So this is a natural reaction to coming from another world. The other reaction is to try to change your circumstances to suit yourself more. We count on your feeling this way.
Me: I sure do! And I do want to change it.
Ivo: Of course. So the Lightworker begins to search. They say, "Well if I am not from here, where am I from?" You would look at your parents and think you were adopted. But then you looked at your parents' faces and said, "No, they're my parents. I look too much like them." Yes, you look like them physically and your earth personality does have some of their personality traits because you have their DNA, but it ends there. You were not aware when you said you were their daughter that you were only judging yourself physically. You were not thinking that there are more aspects to you, such as your higher consciousness or higher self. You were not aware of these things then.
Me: I know, pity eh?
Ivo: It took time my dear. For you had other work to do at the time. So your awareness came slowly.
In the same token, you heard our voices the night you got into the car accident. You heard us, and typically did not listen but you never questioned who those voices were warning you not to drive that night. So there were inconsistencies ... in some ways you questioned and in others you simply accepted. You did know you were different. Lightworkers usually sense this.
Some lightworkers go outside and look at the stars. They search for their homes. These lightworkers are typically very sensitive to energy and perhaps are not aware of it, but they are receiving energies from their home planets and stars. Your earth receives energies from many worlds, so to be able to sense that there is one that predominates with them is excellent.
They do not realize either that this searching the stars is a request to communicate with beings from their home planets. And we oblige, of course.
Lightworkers are very active at night time, as they sleep. They enjoy their higher consciousness and have jobs to do at that time as well, not just in the physical. You work 24/7 as you would say.
Me: I can imagine that being free of the limitations of our earth would be exhilirating.
Ivo: Yes, it is. You often remarked that you were busier at night time than you were during the day. You sensed that you were very active at night.
Me: Yeah for a while, then it stopped....
Ivo: My dear, sometimes we shut these awarenesses down because it is not time for you to wake up yet. The lightworker's path is an orchestrated one. To have one piece be out of sync with another could be catastrophic so we oversee this process of awakening. And yes, you do wake up at the correct moment.
There is of course, influence between the conscious and subconsious minds. When the conscious mind asks, the subconscious mind provides answers. When you ask, "Where am I from?" the subconscious mind attempts to tell you. You may get signs.
For you my dear, a sign could have been the city, "Las Vegas." You despise the idea of the city being a gambling haven because you have an aversion to earth's financial systems, and you do not like that it named after your home star.
Or then you have the vegans on your planet, those who do not eat meat. Yes, we do not. So you may be drawn to experimenting with veganism without knowing why. Things like this will occur as you search for answers.
Some simply take up astronomy in order to search for their home star.
We watched with you as you fell for Captain Kirk, who was the captain of a Star ship. Yes, you are in love with the captain of a star ship - me. You were fascinated with the travels of the Enterprise. This helped to wake you up as well. You were also intrigued that the Enterprise was on a supposedly humanitarian mission, although I tend to take exception to the fact they used their phasers so often, and Captain Kirk's frequent hour-long sexual liaisons were somewhat beneath the standards we galactics practice in our love lives. But you can thank Captain Kirk for helping to wake you up, my dear!
Then there was Star Wars, which portrayed a war going on over your heads, and this is true!
The Matrix explains your life on earth.
These things all help to wake you up. You Lightworkers are drawn to them because you are searching.
My dear, you also loved men with long hair because your subconscious was telling you that you prefer men with long hair. And you would not cut your hair short despite your mother's insisting you do so and rejection of you for not doing it.
The clues are there! All the budding Lightworker must do is look back through their lives to see how they connected with things that helped bring the subconscious into the conscious.
Me: It's kind of interesting too, isn't it?
Ivo: We watched patiently, my dear. We keep "pinging" you with information to steer you in that direction.
